I was very chuffed that she asked me to design the cover for her.
So Covid is a bit of a pest and it stole my creative mojo in 2020. In the midst of lockdowns in Sydney, Lisa asked me if I would work on this cover. I said yes for my own selfish reasons. Lisa has the most incredible abundant creative energy. Ideas brim from her constantly, I've always admired her for this. I hoped that by working with her on a personal project, I might be able to reconnect with my own creativity by natural osmosis.
Seeing the visual journey here is a nice reminder to myself that you just need to always keep making and creating.
Creativity comes and goes in waves. And that's okay
